Community

Rooted in San Francisco, shaped by belonging.

Tiny Moments Press is built in San Francisco, California, where creative communities, LGBTQIA+ families, educators, librarians, neighborhood shops, and local readers help shape what inclusive storytelling can feel like. We are also military veterans, and that spirit of service shapes how we think about showing up for families and community spaces.

Why it matters

Stories should help families feel seen.

As part of the LGBTQIA+ community and as military veterans, we create picture books where inclusive families, two-mom homes, tenderness, everyday wonder, service, and belonging are not side notes. They are the heart of the story.

Living in San Francisco means being surrounded by a huge, vibrant community. We are always looking for thoughtful ways to support the people, places, and programs that help families feel safe, celebrated, and connected.

San Francisco

A city that makes room for many kinds of families.

Our books come from a place where neighborhood stories, chosen family, artists, teachers, caregivers, and small shops all contribute to a richer idea of home.

LGBTQIA+

Representation with warmth and everyday joy.

We believe children deserve stories where LGBTQIA+ families are present with softness, adventure, humor, and love, not only explained, but naturally included.

Veterans

Service is part of our story too.

As military veterans, we carry a deep respect for service, resilience, and the families who build home across many kinds of seasons. That perspective belongs in how we publish and how we show up.

Support

Finding practical ways to show up.

We want to support bookstores, shops, libraries, schools, family programs, and community spaces that help inclusive books reach the readers who need them.
